Colleen is an award-winning TV & Radio broadcaster, journalist, and producer.

After a previous career as a MOBO Award-winning singer, Colleen joined the BBC as a qualified journalist in local radio where her on-screen talents were quickly spotted and she was asked to present more than 40 films for the BBC’s regional flagship current affairs programme Inside Out. A natural warm personality on screen, she was also scouted to present a four-part culture magazine series called Global Pulse for BBC World TV News.

Since then, she has gone on to carve out a specialist arts correspondent role for herself on the BBC’s flagship Six and Ten o’clock News – reporting live on location or in the studio on the UK’s most watched news programme with a combined 10 million viewers a day. She’s also presented The Cultural Frontline for BBC World Service and was a regular presenter of the LIVE 8pm News Bulletin on BBC One (before Eastenders).

Colleen’s reports have seen her interview some of the biggest celebrity names including John Boyega, Henry Winkler, Letitia Wright, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Ronan Keating, Ashley Walters, Rio Ferdinand and Thierry Henry.

Off screen, Colleen writes for industry magazine Music Week - interviewing cover stars including guitar legend Nuno Bettencourt, singer Mahalia, and MOBO Awards-founder Kanya King. In addition, she has hosted the International Booker Prize Winner Ceremony, and hosted live events for Music Week x YouTube Music.

Outside of work, Colleen is an avid amateur guitarist studying with the prestigious Berklee College of Music (Online).
